Dahni

Dahni

Race: Human (Child) Class: Wild Magic Barbarian Age: ~12 years old

A young barbarian wielding power far beyond what one would expect from a child, Dahni’s rage is touched by wild magic — unpredictable surges of chaotic energy that make him as dangerous to foes as he is unpredictable to allies.

He carries a massive magical club, a vestige of great power that has bonded with him. Despite his youth, Dahni has proven himself in battle with the raw strength of his rage and the ancient magic flowing through his weapon.

From the Jungles of Marquet

Dahni comes from the jungles outside Dul’rusar in Marquet — a land far to the south with sand dunes and tropical forests. He met the party on Palma Flora in the Menagerie Coast. How a child of twelve ended up so far from home remains one of the party’s ongoing mysteries. When they first entered the forested foothills near Roshona, Dahni was visibly relieved to see trees again, hugging the first substantial one they encountered.

The Lost Memory

In Session 72, to gain entry to the Sporeheart Enclave, Dahni was forced to sacrifice a memory like all the others. He chose to give up his last happy memory with his parents: a time when his family helped an indigenous community in the jungles destroy industrial machines that were threatening their sacred lands. It was a memory of pride, of his parents doing good work, of community and purpose. Now it’s gone forever, absorbed into the myconid collective.

Combat Wild Magic

In the cloaker battle, Dahni’s rage triggered wild magic surges: bolts of lightning shot from his chest, forces manifested unpredictably, and a flumph appeared mid-combat. His wild magic makes every battle a gamble, but his raw damage output is undeniable.
